When this was released in 1982 without the familiar shape of Michael Myers lurking within its shadows, more than one critic assumed that famed writer Nigel Kneale, who left the production after refusing to make changes to his screenplay, had merely foreseen the film’s generally poor reception. But just how different was the finished movie from Kneale’s original script? We take a closer look at the Halloween III that could have been!
