Hello Infinity,

I love your magazine very much indeed (but would I marry it? Possibly!) Anyway I’m a late bloomer in terms of the joys of your fab mag, purchasing issue 49 as my first venture into your world, courtesy of a digital subscription as a 50th birthday prezzie from my son, Lewis.

I’ve just recently renewed my subscription (thanks again Lewis) and I’ve decided to purchase all the back issues in order from issue one, but only on one condition. I must read every issue cover to cover, even reading all the articles about topics I may have in the past expressed not too much interest in, whether they be TV series, novels, comics or whatever.

Blade Runner being my favourite film ever, and Doctor Who (definitely my fave TV series ever) meant that issue one was a delight. A very distinct memory also springs to mind based on an issue one article. After seeing Flash Gordon at the cinema with my 2 big sisters at the Kelburn Cinema in Paisley, we went up to the local Coats Observatory and saw Jupiter through their telescope, which doubled the lovely memory of that night, what with Flash Gordon being a great film too.

I’m still working my way through issue one-I’m not the biggest Star Trek fan to be fair but I’ve watched the series to some extent and seen the movies so I’ll get there. Anyway, thanks for a great magazine, and for the foreseeable I’ll be reading 2 issues at the same time until I catch up. Thanks ! You know, when I first started putting the mag together I fully intended Infinity to be a purely sci-fi title, but as the issues went on I suddenly realised what a good idea it would be to include comics and TV shows and lots of other nostalgic stuff, which is the Infinity we have now -let me know when you start to notice the transition!
