Dear Allan and Infinity,
It’s time to email you once again( the previous occasion being as a pre-Infinity Dark Side fan). I have dipped in and out of Infinity for a while as a long-time reader of DS ( graduating on from reading Fear, Fangoria, Gorezone etc in the 80s).
I have tonight been thoroughly enjoying issue 76 and as a fan of Action Man, the Confessions quadrilogy and Kojak have thoroughly enjoyed this thrilling content. I have, dare I say it!
I have come to the conclusion that Infinity is now my favourite mag and will now move from dipping to regularly purchasing alongside DS.
You certainly have tuned into what your readers crave across multiple topics so I thank you for decades of educational and fun features and incredible artwork.
Just continuing on from the warm Roger Moore memories. When my mum worked at Max Factor in the 60s her colleague had stopped on the way to work at some shop along the way and who should pull up in a little sports coupé but Roger Moore. Said friend/colleague exchanged “Good mornings” with Roger and cheekily asked if he’d drop her off at work as she was running a tad late... What a gent... He did too!
Finally, can you help solve a long standing frustration. In the early 90s, around Christmas time or New Year, a short TV film was aired about a time-slip. Basic story. Woman stays at hotel. Dishevelled man bursts into room, glasses awry, then disappears. Later on in time the woman meets said man at a function of sorts and they become romantically attached and she takes him back to the hotel of original encounter of which he claims no knowledge of visiting or events prior. Woman gets man to re-enact his intrusion and after several attempts he nails his previous entrance identically... then, once again totally disappears as before. All that remains of his existence was I think the names they carved into a tree. I’d dearly love to know if this TV film is recalled by anybody and available to buy. I guess its based on an old legend. Anyway I ramble. Thanks for all you do to entertain us mortal readers. Happy upcoming Halloween.
