REACHING OUT

We met a lot of knife enthusiasts at the BLADE Show 2019 in Atlanta, and just like the rest of the human population, it was a very diverse crowd … that’s actually a HUGE understatement. We met so many different kinds of knife lovers, that it boggles the mind!

Of course, we reconnected with our knifemaker friends of every kind, from the well-known manufacturers to the independent custom makers. And within that community, we met and reconnected with makers of every age, those that had huge followings, those that were just getting started, makers that specialized in exotic materials, lovers of historical blade re-creations, and on and on. And every maker was enthusiastic about every other maker and the future direction of blade creation. The air practically crackled with energy and excitement!

We met knife collectors of all kinds, too. Aficionados who love the artistry of the blades, whether for their function or form, and from every budget imaginable. Some were looking to add the latest EDC carriable to their pocket collection, while some were looking for that big ticket (and we mean BIG ticket) item to showcase on their wall.
