HALIFAX put in a very professional performance to overcome Sheffield Eagles at the Shay on Sunday.
Four unanswered first half tries for the West Yorkshire outfit set the platform for a comfortable victory which was aided by some woeful play from Sheffield both with the ball and without.
Having put in a good performance against Featherstone in defeat last time out, Halifax were out to get a win which would take them into the top six. The Eagles meanwhile were without a win in five having drawn against Whitehaven in their previous match.
