THORNHILL were having the better of the Dewsbury derby against SHAW CROSS at the break, a late Sam Ratcliffe try establishing a 12-10 lead earned despite the sinbinnings of Johnny Campbell (12 minutes) and Elliot Robson (32) for a late tackle and a professional foul respectively.
The Sharks nosed ahead on the restart, however, with an Evan Stephenson try, at which point matters deteriorated significantly for the Trojans.
Joel Gibson was red carded on 48 minutes for a late tackle and, seven minutes later, Brad Llewellyn was sent off for alleged homophobic language.
