TIMELINE
Day 0
“Sensing that preparation would be key to the success of using a Pi 4 as my main computer for a working week, I spent Sunday preparing the system. This meant installing software, checking printer access and confirming key online resources worked. Fearing processing bottlenecks, I settled for the 8GB version of the Pi 4 and connected it to a spare monitor. A standard USB keyboard and mouse were attached, along with an external HDD for storage. This was to prevent overuse of the microSD card as well as to ensure any saved work could be retrieved in the event of a crash.”
