On first login, the OS launches LastOS Settings. It also begins setting up extra programs, such as Microsoft Visual Runtimes and Wine.

his Mint-based distro is so new that it is still awaiting inclusion in DistroWatch’s database. The latest version of LastOSLinux (hereafter referred to as LastOS) is actually still in Release Candidate status (currently RC2). However, main developer Glenn Chugg has made bold claims about this being a distro that not only is a “viable alternative to Windows” but one to “get things done”.
