Brave Browser has been around for about seven years, care of the good people at Brave Software. It boasts some impressive credentials, as the company’s CEO is Brendan Eich, who created JavaScript and co-founded the Mozilla Foundation. Brave is based on Chromium and its main emphasis is on privacy. The built-in Brave Shields feature contains a very powerful ad-blocker and anti-tracking. It broadcasts “Do not track” to all sites by default.
