IT JUST WORKS?
Apple used to have a slogan “It just works”. And for many years this was the case. Then they developed their own chip!
For various reasons, I decided that I would make one final investment in Apple equipment – mainly because the life expectancy of the machines and the owner were likely to be about the same! But it has turned out to be a poor decision.
The iPad Pro (M1) is now going back for investigation for the third time. The MacBook Air (M1) seems to want to do its own thing at erratic times. In the nine months I have had it, I have probably had to reboot it more times that my iMac which I had for about 10 years.
