ON THE WHOLE the iPhone excels at capturing detail in both shadows and highlights. It can also reproduce accurate colors in various lighting conditions. However you may still run into exposure problems in contrasting light, leading to shots where the sky is over-exposed or the shadows are under-exposed. As different light sources produce different color temperatures your photos may suffer from cold or warm color casts as well as green/magenta tints. You may also notice unwanted objects or annoyingly tilted horizons when perusing your pictures. Fortunately Apple’s free Photos app has most of the tools you’ll need to overcome typical picture problems and create better looking shots. You may also want to apply filters to your shots to make them stand out in your social media feeds.
