What about iMovie?
Now that Photos allows you to edit videos, and Big Sur expands that to allow cropping and filters, you might be wondering why you should bother with iMovie. But iMovie allows you to do a great deal more than just crop, trim, and add filters. For example, iMovie has 29 themes that make it really easy to turn your photos and movies into Hollywood–style trailers. It also allows you to add transitions and fades to your videos, as well as apply picture–in–picture, green screen effects, and speed up or slow down clips. iMovie also allows you to apply image stabilization to shaky clips, add Ken Burns–style effects to still images, adjust the color, and apply lots of different audio and video effects to clips.
