Modelling mojo or inspiration, call it what you will, CHRIS LEIGH offers a few thoughts on a lifetime’s essential.

Back when I was editor of Model Rail, a frequent, if not ‘regular’ contributor suddenly stopped submitting material. He had, he said, ‘lost his modelling mojo’. Artists and authors usually refer to this temporary loss of enthusiasm as a ‘lack of inspiration.’ We modellers need constant inspiration to keep us making models and building layouts.

I recently received an email from Accurascale, pointing out that I needed to pay an invoice as the item was now in stock. For the life of me, I could not remember ordering anything. The invoice was for a Class 37 and dated from back in 2023.
