THE LORD of the Isles pub at Craobh Haven has been shortlisted in the gastro pub of the year category in the the Food Awards Scotland. ‘LOTI’ as the pub is known, will find out if it will be crowned winner at a ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Monday August 14. Wil Craig, the owner of LOTI, is delighted to be nominated for such a prestigious award and said he understands the importance of promoting food in Argyll.
‘Food is our passion here at the Lord of the Isles,’ he said. ‘We want our customers to come here and experience West Coast hospitality at its best.
‘We want to be able to offer a firstclass dining experience in a beautiful part of Scotland, our customers leaving with a positive impression of what Argyll has to offer. By working together and setting the bar high, Argyll will continue to be a favourite for tourists from all parts of the globe. ‘Being shortlisted for gastro pub of the year helps us achieve these goals and hopefully encourages holiday makers to make Argyll their prime holiday destination for great food, drink and accommodation.’
