CONNECTING people with news from across Argyll and the West Highlands has just become easier thanks to significant improvements to The Oban Times digital edition.
Earlier this year, the digital edition was made available to read on any smartphone or tablet device, meaning readers can enjoy the paper anywhere, anytime. Now further improvements have been made to the service so people can read each article in full-screen format, as well as being able to flick through pages and pinch and zoom in on articles as before.
To let people know of the changes, The Oban Times has launched its new campaign, “Stay connected”, which includes a stunning 30-second film of people from Argyll reading the newspaper on their device in beautiful locations, including Oban town centre, the Isle of Kerrera, and North Connel. The film is available to watch on The Oban Times website and on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
