PORTAVADIE’S Marina Restaurant and Bar has been awarded two AA Rossettes for culinary excellence. This comes after the destination won two prizes at the Scottish Outdoor and Leisure Awards, along with a coveted Highlands and Islands Tourism Award. Executive chef Liam Murphy said it was ‘an honour’ to be given the rosettes.
‘I’m absolutely delighted to see the passion and dedication of our team rewarded in this way,’ he said.
‘Only 10 per cent of eateries in the UK receive one rosette or above and I am thrilled our commitment to delivering high quality, locally-sourced food has been recognised by an organisation as renowned as the AA. ‘We are incredibly lucky to live and work in an area with such an abundant larder, from land and sea. This, together with our innovative team, allows us to showcase the best produce to create memorable dishes for our guests.’
