Most of the action on a piano happens around the middle of the keyboard. Sure, it has 88 notes, but the highest ones sound thin and unsatisfying, and the lowest are grumbling and indecipherable. Despite this, Aussie piano maker Wayne Stuart deemed 88 notes insufficient, and has added notes at the top and bottom to create this 108-note monster that’s 3m long and 644kg.
