DIM GRAY
Shards
Third album from well-connected, cinematically inclined Norwegians.

There’s nothing like a bit of patronage to give a new act a leg up. Oslo-based art-rockers Dim Gray impressed older generations of musicians early in their career, securing a deal with English Electric Recordings and tour supports with label owners Big Big Train, as well as opening for Marillion on several occasions. Keyboard player and vocalist Oskar Holldorff has since joined BBT, but for him and his bandmates (here expanded to a five-piece) their third album justifies such high-profile endorsements.
