INTERVIEWS RIN HAMBURGH PHOTOGRAPH LOUISE HAYWOOD-SCHIEFER
Every January, I attend a vision board workshop. The most significant one was in 2015. I was 34 and had a great career as a management consultant. I knew, in the back of my mind, that I wanted to be an entrepreneur, but I was becoming more senior at work, and was sure that, if I didn’t remove myself from that path, I would never get to where I wanted to be.
This was weighing on me when I went on the course. What I created was the most dramatic board I’d ever done, and the one that led to the biggest change in my life. It had themes around becoming a brand and getting organised, but there was also an adventure aspect: travelling; running wild – with a reference to Bali and tribal trails. I thought, ‘Maybe if I keep looking at it, something will happen.’
