Getting to the Heart of Mars

Thanks to a smack by a meteorite and NASA’s Insight lander recording seismic waves on the surface of Mars, scientists have a better understanding of the Martian interior, as reported in the journal Nature by two research teams, one led by Henri Samuel (Université Paris Cité, France), the other by Amir Khan (Institute of Geochemistry & Petrology, Zurich).
