Mindful Collecting and Dynamic Diamonds
I think it fair to say most if not all of us have done it at one time or another. We’re enjoying the best beach vacation of our lives, and we decide to scoop up a bit of that velvety sand to take home as a memento of the good times. For instance, I have friends who honeymooned in Hawaii, and while there, they just happened to return to the hotel room with green olivine sand from Papakolea Beach in their shoes. While not illegal, per se, collecting from this beach is discouraged. There’s a little larceny in each of us, I suppose.
