Describe the room in which you typically write.
My office is about two metres by three, high ceilinged, walled with bookcases on one side, shelving for the printer and stationery and clutter on the other, and a table at the window overlooking the Firth of Clyde, with a fine view of ships, seabirds, seals and submarines.
