DENON’S NEW BUDS WILL LISTEN TO YOUR LUGS
Denon has launched its first pair of earphones since acquiring audio brand Nura earlier this year. The PerL in-ears (from £189) come with Nura-style personalisation tech, which creates a bespoke sound profile based on your individual ears. They’ll be available in the UK later in the year.
XIAOMI’S NEW SLATE LOOKS REALLY RATHER GREAT
Xiaomi’s Pad 6 (£369) is now available in the UK after its Chinese launch in April. The 11in slate is 6.5mm thick and weighs 490g, with a Snapdragon 870 CPU to provide the beans. Add the Smart Pen (£90) and Pad 6 Keyboard (£tba) and you’ve got an affordable iPad Pro alternative.
EXPRESS’S NEW ROUTER WILL FEND OFF EVERY SNOOPER
ExpressVPN has released a router with its encryption tech built in. That means any device you connect to the Aircove ($190) will automatically have its online activity hidden, so you don’t need to download and run software for them all individually – although you do still need a subscription.
APPLE’S OLD BLOWER IS A BIT OF A GOER
An original Apple iPhone has sold at auction in the US for $190,372. Back when it was launched in 2007 it would have cost $599, but don’t get too excited if you’ve still got yours stashed in a drawer somewhere, because this was a mint-condition phone still in its factory-sealed box.
