Tim Keenan provides an in-depth article on ‘The Working Engines of Clayton & Shuttleworth’, which details their engines history, from 1842.

Hugh Cawdell covers a David Brown 2D, an un-conventual tractor that was originally designed to carry tools with an air-cooled 2-cylinder vertical diesel engine. Tangye produced ‘The Suction Gas Plant’ that produced power from waste, Patrick Knight informs us how this engine worked in the industry. In "Lives of the Engineers", our history buffs will learn about the most prolific valve manufacturers in Victoria, John Valves.

This month in Club Clippings, we cover the Wedderburn Historical Engine and Machinery Society latest restorations and we have a Rally article on the Sale Vintage Tractor Club with their 36th Annual Tractor Pull from earlier this year.

This issue has an expanded News & Letters from our readers with a follow up on Bruce’s enquiry from #204 about a ‘Two Stroke Conundrum’. Introducing Ron Smiths Royal Enfield engine, which he had in the back shed, and was spurred on to get it out and share with TOMM readers.
