BEST PRACTICE & HIGHLIGHTS OF SEASON 2018

People who share the passion for Karting continue to “walk the talk” every day as their livelihood often depends on it. It’s the way of life for them. Their enthusiasm shines! Without the sheer dedication and commitment of these racing fanatics, our sport may not exist as it does today or have any real future. We caught up with some of our partners from around the world of Rotax Racing in the 2018 race season to share their thoughts, practices & initiatives, where BRPRotax has been trackside supporting the many MAX competitors at RMC events this year.

KEEPING OUR ROTAX DRIVERS UP TO SPEED

Another Rotax service initiative in 2018 has seen BRP-Rotax’s Darrell Smith lead the official technical support team to be trackside at both club and RMC events on all levels, plus provide specialist inhouse training courses for their global distribution network.

Darrell Smith – BRP-Rotax: “The BRP-Rotax customer support program offers technical advice to our customers to achieve a better overall performance and to assist with any challenges they may face using ROTAX Karting products. We recognise that the teams at Rotax events have very good product knowledge and experience, but there are times when some additional expertise comes in handy to provide that extra know-how. Our tech team is on course to deliver that support at the racing. We also offer race organisation staff technical training courses and will be extending this to include Rotax MAX engine maintenance courses. It’s exciting to continue to build our customer support program globally as a result of its success in 2018 and give everyone the best opportunity to further understand and use our products.”

USA J3 COMPETITION INC
