Denise Black is an actress who has made a habit of being a marriage wrecker but it’s hard to be disapproving when she’s so chatty and friendly, and anyway it’s not 58-year-old Denise who has wreaked havoc with people’s happiness, of course, but the characters she’s played on screen. Frankly, the details of her own life, being married to her husband (the composer and voice coach Paul Sand) for more than thirty years, with two grown-up children, and a happy home in Brighton, wouldn’t make much of a storyline. But over the years, she’s been at the heart of several TV love tangles.
