Welcome to the latest issue of Italia! magazine! We hope you’ve been keeping well since we last met – whether you’ve been off on your travels to Italy or simply stayed close to home. 2023 is ticking along nicely and we are on the cusp of summer already. And with this in mind, we’ve put together an issue I know will take you right through the season.
We start in the Bay of Naples on the sunny island of Ischia, beset by disastrous landslides last November, but very much open for business and visitors again now. With a passing nod to a regal occasion taking place here in the UK, we travel to Turin, the seat of the Savoys – the last kings of Italy – to marvel at the sumptuous palaces they called home. Moving on, the wide open spaces and fresh air of Puglia beckon, as does a fascinating look at the ‘Cinema Under the Stars’ and historic Cineteca of Bologna.
