HAPPY ROBINS
Congratulations to Hull KR on ending their 45-year trophy drought.
They had tremendous support at Wembley and it was good, as a neutral, to see their fans being able to celebrate so joyously after such a dramatic climax to the game.
It was a shame that someone had to lose, but Warrington will recover from their disappointment, which came after a much better performance than the one they gave a year earlier against Wigan.
I watched the game on the BBC and I would like to compliment Mark Chapman and the various pundits and commentators for an excellent presentation.

WIGAN WOMEN SHINE
How good it was to see the Wigan Women’s team play such attractive open Rugby League in the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley.
The skills and athleticism of the whole team was so impressive against the fancied and more experienced St Helens team.
The influence of head coach Denis Betts to provide the leadership, the right environment and the style of expansive play as well as a culture of sheer enjoyment for all his players will make him very proud. The women’s game is certainly on the rise.
However, the players deserved to be playing in front of a much bigger crowd, which is something to seriously consider for next year.
