PRIOR to Wigan’s victory Leigh Leopards claimed the Nine’s Cup trophy after an end-to-end thriller against Championship side London Broncos.
In the end it proved to be Kate Howard’s try for the Leopards that settled matters as the side from the capital refused to give up against their top-flight opposition.
