WALES JUNIOR FINALS
TORFAEN TIGERS
(below)
eased to a 36-12 win over CARDIFF BLUE DRAGONS in the WALES UNDER 15 JUNIOR FINAL – the last of four deciders played out before a crowd approaching four figures at The Lextan Gnoll, Neath.
Jac Thomas scored an early field-goal for Cardiff – and a second after his side had gone 10-1 down.
Torfaen established a 16-2 lead at the break and the Blue Dragons never quite recovered, despite tries in the second period for Riley Williams and, after the Tigers’ Frazer Redman had been sinbinned, Shamad Irewole, one of which Jacob Styles improved.
