Amazing World
CUBA
Cuba is one of the most amazing countries I’ve ever visited. It’s home to one of the longeststanding revolutions, a communist dictatorship, cigars, salsa and rum. It is also surviving under a trade embargo with one of its closest neighbours and the most powerful country in the world: the United States of America. But apart from that, Cuba is a very special place with its bolero, rumba and son and its incredibly friendly people. Let’s look at this amazing country.

Expensive Cigars
Your first point of call should definitely be Havana. It’s a beautiful colonial city with incredible buildings and monuments, many of which look like they haven’t been painted or done up in 50 years. Within Havana there is Habana Vieja, which is the old part of the city, built by the Spanish when they colonised the island. This is definitely worth a good deal of time strolling around. Inside Habana Vieja there are lots of things worth visiting, such as the Museo de la Revolucion and the Fabrica de Tobacos Partigas. The museum has a detailed explanation of the revolution, and the Factory goes into the process of making some of Cuba’s most famous and expensive cigars. Outside Havana there are fantastic beaches like those in Varadero, beautifully preserved colonial cities like Trinidad, and trekking in the mountains in Viñales and the Sierra Maestra with much to see all over the country.
