Terry Harrison

Ingrid Lyon pays tribute to a popular and inspiring artist and tutor

In tribute

Terry Harrison

It is with immense personal sadness that I must report the death of artist and tutor, Terry Harrison, on 13 June; someone I remember with heaps of energy, spirit and enterprise. Terry’s name will be well known by many readers, who knew him through his exhibitions, books, DVDs, workshops, demonstrations, holidays and articles in Leisure Painter. Having painted for many decades, the art materials he wanted, but couldn’t find, he simply produced himself and eventually sold to students and fellow artists alike. He also painted a series of popular jigsaw puzzles for Gibsons, and his paintings and prints are held in collections throughout the world.
