Roy Summerfield-Shapiro Pomona, oil, 231/2x193/4in (60x50cm), on show at the first Virtual-to-Real exhibition at the Indigo Crow Gallery, Lincoln
Virtual to Real is a new innovation organised by Open Art Lincs (founded by Kevin Byron), that invites artists to upload their work to a virtual gallery where it is showcased internationally for no charge. Artists can then choose to show their work in one or more of the real exhibitions that follow, with the gallery hire fee and promotional costs shared by the exhibiting artists. The first Virtualto-Real exhibition took place at the Indigo Crow Gallery in Lincoln in February and further exhibitions are planned at the Rickyard Gallery in Wickenby, from June 3 to 25 and the Harding House Gallery, in Lincoln, from September 21 to October 3.
