Christian Aid Scotland has thanked supporters for rising to the challenge of a second Christian Aid Week under pandemic restrictions.
Even before Christian Aid Week 2021 began, over 95 groups of Scottish supporters had signed up to try something new with digital fundraising. These included the Rev Andrew Kimmitt’s ‘Spey in a Day’ run/bike/canoe challenge, Jim Stewart’s 80 ‘Laps around the Loch’ in East Kilbride and Kinross Parish Church’s ‘Water Bucket Challenge’. Groups of all ages, inspired by the life of Rose from Kenya who walks six miles each day for water, walked in spirit with her this Christian Aid Week.
