Lately there’s been a lot of news – some good, most of it bad. And to keep up with the constant series of events and developments from around the world we constantly check our devices… but what if a Raspberry Pi could give you the news headlines every five minutes? This project uses Pimoroni’s Micro Dot pHAT to scroll the news across the vibrant red displays, keeping you up to date.
Micro Dot pHAT comes as a kit, which means that we need to solder each of the displays to the pHAT board.
Please follow Pimoroni’s instructions before moving on. The board fits on to the Raspberry Pi using the GPIO, and it should fit to match the outline of the Raspberry Pi Zero. When attached, connect your accessories and power on to the desktop.
