Cyberdeck Bonnet
Les Pounder dons his mirrored shades, adds the latest wetware to his Adafruit-enhanced Pi 400 and gets ready to hack the matrix.
IN BRIEF
Adafruit’s Cyberdeck Bonnet breaks the Raspberry Pi 400’s GPIO out for easy access and adds Stemma/ Stemma QT connections for compatible boards, wrapped up in a board that many Pi 400 console cowboys would sell an augment for. The low cost and ease of use offer an interesting means to use the GPIO of the Raspberry Pi 400.
T he Raspberry Pi 400 arrived in late 2020. Its GPIO is the same as the Raspberry Pi but rotated 90 degrees, which breaks compatibility with most HATs and pHATs. Adafruit’s Cyberdeck Bonnet is a 45 degree GPIO breakout that also provides Stemma/ Stemma QT connections for compatible devices.
