reeciv is a highly playable and attractive open source strategy game. It’s not the first time we’ve covered it (see LXF242), but this time we’re celebrating the long-awaited 3.0 release. Freeciv 3.0 had been in the works for almost four years, and there are some noticeable changes worth reviewing for both veteran Freeciv players and newcomers.
