Manjaro 20.1.1
The distribution that brought Arch to the masses continues to amass new features and win over Jonni Bidwell, who’s never easily pleased.
Jonni Bidwell
IN BRIEF
The latest point release of the ever-popular Arch-based distro. Available in Xfce, Gnome and KDE flavours. More suited to intermediate users than beginners. See also: Arch Linux, KaOS, ArchLabs, Endeavour OS.
The release of Manjaro 20.0 back in April evaded the eyes of our vigilant review team (isn’t that you?-Ed), so we made sure this 20.1 “Mikah” release got the once-over. Manjaro follows a rolling-release model, so current Manjaro users don’t need to reinstall unless their current install is broken. Anyone who perhaps has dabbled with Ubuntu or Linux Mint though, should certainly consider firing up this ISO. Manjaro continues to push the Xfce edition as its flagship, so we’ll focus on that here.
