MASTERCLASS PERFECT PLEATS
Pleats can be difficult to wrap your head around because they change name depending on whether you make them on the right or wrong side! Here's how to make inverted pleats:
1 Fold your fabric RST matching one pair of notches. Secure with a vertical pin as shown.
2 Mark the middle of the fold and then open out your pleat matching the mark you just made with the pin.
3 Flatten out the pleat and pin along the length.
4 Sew across the top of the pleat within the seam allowance to temporarily hold in place!
