For the last few high-end iPad releases, Apple has boasted about how it’s ‘the thinnest ever’. The current 11-inch iPad Pro is 5.3mm thick, and to be frank, that’s as thin as it needs to be. Shaving fractions of millimetres off its depth with every release no longer impresses.
But the quality of the 11-inch iPad Pro definitely does. Available in Silver or Space Black, it boasts an impressive camera system which includes a LiDAR scanner. Its rear-facing camera is 12MP, with an ƒ/1.8 aperture and a digital zoom up to 5x. It can record video of up to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second (fps) too. The front-facing camera, which is on the long side, is great for video calls and also offers Face ID, so you can unlock your iPad and make online purchases just by looking at it. So easy.
This particular model of iPad is available in capacities of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB. If you do a lot of streaming you might not need a huge amount of local storage, but remember, you can’t add more later.
