More tips, tricks, and secret features in macOS Sequoia…

INALLY, LET’S TAKE a look at some great new macOS Sequoia features in the Notes and Freeform apps, as well as some more deep–cut tips for other macOS applications.
1 Math Notes
A new feature in the Notes app allows you to carry out quick calculations from within the application. All you have to do is write the equation or sum, and the Notes app automatically adds the answer as soon as you type the “=” symbol. You can also define variables for equations by entering a letter or word followed, by the “=” symbol and its value — for example, “X=2” or “Andy = 1”.
2 Freeform Scenes
If your collaborative Freeform board is getting large and unwieldy, you can break it down into scenes. Drag your board to the part you wish to identify as a scene and, at the foot of the window in the left, click the star icon to the right of the magnifier. This opens the Scene controls. Click the three– lines icon in its center, and in the menu that appears, then click the Add Scene button. That part of your board is now saved as a scene, which can be accessed through the same window that created it. Wherever you are on the board, clicking on that scene takes you to it. Hovering over it reveals a “…” icon. Click it for a menu that lets you rename, replace, print, or output the scene as a PDF.
