20 years ago, a movement backed by millions of Black men in America and spearheaded by the current leader of the Nation Of Islam, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, spawned all across the Congress lawn in Washington, DC. The Million Man March, held on October 16, 1995, became an inspiration for an entire generation of Black men and families who faced insurmountable odds while going into the 21st century educationally and economically disadvantaged. One of the primary goals of such gathering was to focus Black men on their responsibilities and struggles to overcome. In 2015, the Minister and supporters seek to rekindle such activism with the 20th Anniversary commemoration of the MMM with the 10-10-15 March On Washington, also dubbed as the “Justice Or Else” movement.
