Want access to your Jellyfin libraries while on the road? Insecure connections are easy to configure—navigate to Dashboard > Networking, and verify that ‘Allow remote connections to this server’ is checked. Then, it’s just a case of setting up a subdomain or dynamic domain that points to your home IP address, plus set up a port forwarding rule in your router to direct traffic on port 8096 to your Jellyfin server’s IP address.
