BenQ RD320UA
At last, a screen for reading reams of text
While it may look like a plain rectangle, the function bar gives it a bit of personality.
GAMING MONITORS are rapidly becoming the de-facto standard for a ‘good’ screen—they frequently come in decent sizes, with high resolutions and refresh rates, and make use of the best display technology to give your games all the brightness, contrast, and sharpness they deserve. Using a gaming monitor all day can be an excellent experience, though if you’re not pumping 240Hz into one, it can feel like you’re not using it to the best of its capabilities. BenQ has shown pity on people who spend their days looking at reams of text, but want a really nice screen to do it on with its Programming Series, of which the RD320UA is a member. It’s a 32inch, 4K screen with an HDR400 rating and a lot of the usual high-end monitor features, but its maximum refresh rate is a positively pedestrian 60Hz, and its panel uses older IPS technology, rather than a lovely luminous OLED.
