Intel’s new graphics card is what the market needs

Jeremy Laird

Intel’s new B580 isn’t the graphics card we were expecting, but it could be what we actually need.

WHEN INTEL first announced the new Arc B580 graphics card, I was disappointed. It wasn’t the Nvidia RTX 4070 killer I’d been hoping for. But the more I think about it, the more I realize I was seeing it through the lens of an enthusiast. The thing is, most people don’t spend even $500 on a graphics card, so the $250 price of the B580 is actually bang on.
