MECHANICAL KEYBOARDS for the average Joe are a bit unique these days. Because the market and the enthusiast space has advanced so rapidly over the last few years, long gone are the times when manufacturers could forgo sound-dampening, and use any old Cherry switch or a discounted alternative on their boards. That puts the traditional manufacturers in a tricky position when it comes to designing new product lines, and it’s very much a case of 'adapt or die'.
