OLD v NEW GSX-R1000
Seeing the new GSX-R1000 in the flesh and in action on the track was a real treat. It’s smaller, lighter, more compact and cleverer than the current model and Taylor’s point about the engine’s extra power makes a superbike showdown a must. Test rider John Reynolds reckons that apart from the new
Blade, which he hasn’t ridden, the GSX-R1000 is the fastest of all the 1000s some feat given the stratospheric level road going superbikes are at now.
