HORNET’S STING

Graham Tetley offers some helpful assembly tips for building the classic Dragon Hornisse, now re-released, straight from the box.

Dragon’s Nashorn first appeared in 1992, however it was subsequently retooled and appeared as a virtually new kit in 2002.

It was this Hornisse version that came as a ‘10th Anniversary’ kit and contained turned brass shells. I bought it in 2003 and built it whilst on holiday in Australia. It was the brass shells that set the alarm off at Broome airport and led to a good chat about modelling with the chap on the scanner. But I digress.
