This is my dad, Len Drolet, in Oberammergau, Germany, in 1957. On the back of the photo he had written “you can tell it was mighty cold.” My dad often talks about this motorcycle and the time he spent touring around Europe on it, how he sometimes ended up on rough mountain trails, and even had a friend riding as a passenger at one point, but the bike was super hardy and he had no troubles with it.
