Badgering on
Andrew Mason locates and photographs one of the UK’s most beloved mammals
Photographing badgers in their natural habitat can be a worthwhile challenge.
Camera: Nikon D4
Lens: 200-400mm f/4
Exposure: 1/200 sec, f/4, ISO640
With their black-and-white striped faces, badgers are one of our most recognizable and beloved mammals. Being both nocturnal and crepuscular, badgers can be a real challenge to photograph using only natural light. Andrew has spent many long hours watching and photographing badgers.
